Individual and Team Registration  

• Registration Packages may be picked up on Friday, May 23 2003, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Meet Hotel, Shearton Overland Park: see lodging page.
• Because We Will Be Using The Finishlynx Timing System, No Meet Day Registration Or Changes Will Be Allowed.
• Entry Forms Must Be Post In Our Posession May 19, 2003.
• Entry Fees: $7 one event; $11 two events; $13 three or four events.
• No Entry forms will be accepted after deadlines.
• Please send pictures in by May 1st to be included in program booklet. Send 3x5 team photos and wallet-size individual. black/white photos please!
• An additional $10 fee for each late entry form if received after May 19, 2003
• No Applications will be accepted after May 20, 2003
• 2003 USAT&F Membership in your association is recommended.  Membership will be available during the event.
• Please Bring a Copy Of Your Birth Certificate To The Meet

Saturday May 24, 2003: 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the track.

Sunday May 25, 2003:  7:45 a.m. at the track.

ELIGIBILITY

The competitive age of an age group athlete is based on the age of the athlete as of December 31, 2003. Athletes who reach the age of 19 after August 18, 2003, are eligible to compete. Open and Masters athletes are bound by their age on date of Competition. Sub-Bantam (8&under), Bantam (10&under), Midget (11-12), youth (13-14), Young Men/Women (17-18), Open 19-30, Masters 31 & UP.

ENTRY FEE

Sub-Bantams, Bantams and Midgets may only compete in 3 events. All other competitors may compete in as many as 4 events. Fees are: $7.00 - 1 event, $11.00 - 2 events, $13.00 3 or more events. $10 LATE FEE; No Race Day Registration Or Changes because of FinishLynx Timing System

AWARDS

Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Ribbons will be awarded to places 4th-6th. In open/masters the only awards given will be medals to the top three finisher.  All events are run as finals unless otherwise noted.

MICHAEL L. CARR ACATHLETIC® AWARD

Each track club is asked to nominate a female and male athlete from each age group for The Michael L. Carr Acathletic® Award. The nominee need not be the greatest athlete on your team. However, they demonstrate must that the disciple, commitment and goal setting necessary to be a successful athlete has been applied to make them successful students. The Michael L. Carr Acathletic® Award for each age group will be announced during The 2003 Memorial Day Classic. See The Michael L. Carr Acathletic® Award page.

RELEASE

I/we acknowledge that the above named participant is physically fit and does not have any health or medical conditions that would prevent the named participant from participating in the above events. I/we further accept full responsibility for any injury, damage, or accident suffered in connection with this meet. I/we further agree to hold harmless the Flyers Track Club, Inc. its agents, coaches, employees, volunteers or representatives for any injury, damage, or accident suffered in connection this meet. I/we have read (or have had read to me/us), understand and accept this waiver of liability.
